We are thrilled to share with you the highlights of our recent Year 11 Graduation Event, a truly remarkable and heart-warming celebration of our students' achievements. On Thursday, June 29, 2023, AS2Educate bid farewell to its graduating class in a grand ceremony held at Westmill Community Centre. The event's atmosphere was charged with positive energy and a sense of achievement as students were seated at beautifully arranged tables that highlighted the significance of the moment.
Showcasing Student Work
One of the most striking aspects of the evening was the exhibition of our students' work. The Westmill Community Centre Hall was transformed into a captivating gallery, showcasing their creative endeavours and academic projects. This exhibition provided a firsthand look at the growth and talent these young individuals have cultivated during their time at AS2Educate.
Heartfelt Speeches
The event was made even more exceptional by the heartfelt speeches delivered by some of our students. These brave individuals, despite not being trained in public speaking, stood before the audience to bid farewell and express their gratitude. Their speeches were filled with genuine emotions as they acknowledged the unwavering support of our AS2Educate team, parents, and others who have played vital roles in their educational journey.
Honored Guests
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests who exemplify our commitment to education and community support. Notably, Bedford Commissioner of Police, Festus Akinbusoye, police officers from the Hertfordshire School and Gangs Unit, HCC Services for Young People, teachers from the students on-roll mainstream schools, senior education advisers from Hertfordshire Virtual Schools, senior SEND officers from Central Bedfordshire, A1 Taxi representatives attended, further emphasising the significance of our students' accomplishments.
